June 13th - up super early to be picked up at 4:30 for 6 AM flight
Chaos at the airport, with everyone cutting the line even though everyone is on the same flight
Board for quick flight, Hotel nicely packed us sandwiched for our flight
Quick flight to Athens
Next flight to Barcelona. our luggage has made it so far! Grab a cab and go to our hotel. checked in saw Mr Puil at the pol and then went to luck at Bar Ramblas were the natives are eating. Good meal and beer.
Went to the supermarkets and picked up some liquor.
Went back to room and napped
then cabbed to Amorino for the best gelato and macaron. walked to La Patisserie. met the Puils along the way
Had doe great desserts and met the chef
Then walked to dinner
Amazing Paella and sangria upstairs
quick photop with bartender then walked back to Amorino for more gelato
then walked alone Las Ramblas, no street performed but plenty of toy helicopters for sale
at the end of street cab to hotel and be eddy by
June 14th
had our Continental breakfast, very continental. then cabbed to Port.
Got through early, but long sit to board.
On our brief line to get in i saw Marcu. A quick exchange gave me instructions on how to request him as our sever - team Orlando - after talking with hasan
Met several of the gang there including the Norwegian, Tam/Kam/Jeff, and Jason's family was the family of the day. Of course there was a tearful reunion with the Logans as Berwitz had to face himself. Also met Dusty
Boarded the ship. After signing up for all important drink sessions, changed into bathing suit and did the plunge. Then had brunch at Cariocas
Went to the meet and greet. Bought shots of Sambuca for my Mate Logan and Jonas and Steinar
Fire-drill and i met the Harwoods
Managed to make it to Dinner at Animators
June 15th - day at Sea
Wine tasting with the wife
Arrived last because of Men's tea - no one
Returned after Wine astatine ftp find Logan and Jason
Mixology with Logans - we lost Michael afterwards :)
Dinner at Palos with the Puils - formal night
June 16th- Villefranche
Off the boat to find French trains on strike, no matter we were bussing
TA didn't like my idea of 1 bus (by walking up the hill)
Instead bussed to Eze by the sea and then bussed up. Met up with the Logans
Kids and wives to perfume making at Fragonard
Men to the bar. Sand and tiki hut included
Walked around. kids ate some ship sandwiches. Finally found a patisserie good quiche, ok sandwich. Got some tasty crepes and the bussed back and this time went the 1 bus rout route. when got to town, walked around a little. found the our boulangerie, but closed from 2-5 PM.
Mia got some candy and took the tender back to the boat.
